 The human elephant conflict


"The term elephant - human conflict" is something we often hear today. This human elephant conflict is most prevalent in the plains of lakes, reservoirs, and plantations in Sri Lanka.  The damage caused by elephant poaching is so serious that many people are now paying attention to it.

There are several reasons why wild elephants come to human habitation. Lack of food and water they need, new construction and use of their habitat for cultivation.  As a result, they lose their habitat.  They come to human habitation for a variety of reasons.

Wild elephants come to the villages and harm human activities. Damage to life, damage to crops, damage to property, etc.Therefore, people also suffer huge economic losses.



There are various solutions to this problem.The relevant authorities should be informed about this first.Solutions such as elephant protection, electric fence construction, inch digging, and torch lighting can be used.

  " The Titanic "           An American shipping line launched a new ship in 1912. Titanic was its name. There had been no other vessel at that time which could surpass the Titanic in luxury and enormity. Experts called it unsinkable. The Titanic was making its inaugural voyage on 14th April 1912 from England to the U.S.A across the Atlantic ocean. 2224 passenger were aboard the ship.
