Leisure is not something we get, but it is something we gain through efficiency. So we can not just idle when we gain a spare time. with great difficulty we must spend it in a useful manner, in a profitable way.

There is a variety of activities that people involve during their free time. Of them watching television has become the commonest as it is very easy. It's also something dreary and monotonous to be glued in front of a plywood box. Playing games is really interesting if we get a suitable surrounding for it. But comparatively,watching birds, admiring scenic beauty by travelling are more fascinating and exciting, which give food for the thoughts.


Leisure activities vary according to the time, place and age. Little ones love to play video games and having fun with celebrations. But adults involve in gardening or reading which are more enthralling and also appealing for them. Reading remains us something to think about, something to feel about where as painting gives pleasure and serenity.  Gardening is more useful and profitable as it provides with extra cents for the family budget. To gain pleasure you need not spend too much money, but little thing would do. The most important factor is to occupy ourselves in an activity so as not to waste but to gain.

  " The Titanic "           An American shipping line launched a new ship in 1912. Titanic was its name. There had been no other vessel at that time which could surpass the Titanic in luxury and enormity. Experts called it unsinkable. The Titanic was making its inaugural voyage on 14th April 1912 from England to the U.S.A across the Atlantic ocean. 2224 passenger were aboard the ship. All of them were in high spirits celebrating Titanic's maiden journey.           Suddenly the ship stuck an iceberg. It was a fatal collision. This accident made a wide hole in the hull of the ship and the ship began to sink.           As the ship was sinking the crew alarmed the passengers of the accident.
